Collagen Masks
Skin experts are convinced that a good supply of Collagen in the skin is the key to a flawless, firm, and creamy complexion. They have also proven that there are things that we can do, even as simple as donning a Collagen Mask regularly, to keep the collagen in our skin healthy and intact in order for us to retain a youthful complexion, nevertheless this fibrous protein, which is mainly responsible for keeping our skin firm, elastic, and protected from injury and aging degrades as we age.
Collagen Masks protect our skin deep in the collagen level from damage, especially by free radicals, and boost the growth of collagen in our skin cells, which help the skin bring back its natural hydrating-capability and elasticity, fill in fine lines and wrinkles, and minimize pore size.
Using nutritious, natural ingredients that are at least rich in protein and antioxidants, including hydrolyzed collagen – a small, intact form of natural amino acids that can be quickly absorbed by the skin and can be used as building blocks of collagen, among others, with just a few, simple steps, Collagen Masks provide superb benefits for the skin that will last a very long time.

Satisfy your skin’s craving for a refreshing and luxurious skin care treatment that targets the skin’s collagen with our selection of Collagen Masks.
Missha Real Essential Collagen Sheet Facial Mask tackles the natural cause of the breakdown of collagen and the harsh effects of free radicals to it.
It contains Silk Amino Acid, Hyaluronic Acid, Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil, and Hydrolyzed Collagen, which all help to form new collagen in the skin; Pottulaca Oleracea plant extract, which is naturally rich with nutrients, like Vitamin A and B-Complex, fatty acids especially omega-3 whose concentration is found to be the highest among all leafy vegetables, glutathione which restores collagen degradation1; and Spent Grain Wax, which protects skin irritation and inflammation.
Boryeong Mud Collagen Mask Pack gently purifies, soothes, and revives the skin’s youthful glow with the valuable extracts of Sea Silt from Boryeong, Korea, which help to remove dirt and wastes from the skin; Hydrolyzed Collagen that provides skin rejuvenation, assists the strength and elasticity of the skin, and helps to firm and improve the skin’s complexion; and, Aloe Vera Leaf Juice, which soothes the skin and provide antioxidant protection.
What is the Role of Collagen in our Skin?
Collagen is the chief structural protein that holds together the connective tissues of our body. In our skin, collagen is found in our dermis – the tough and ‘true’ layer of our skin. It plays a critical role in forming the support structure of our skin cells and is also the main constituent of the extra-cellular matrix. Given this function, collagen is mainly responsible for keeping our skin firm, elastic, and protected from injury and aging, as a thicker collagen layer will give our skin a better protective barrier. 1
As a natural part of aging, damage by free radicals, and insufficient nutrition, the amount of collagen in our skin diminishes or breaks down and is replaced by the weaker, water-saturated gel, called glycoaminoglycans (GAG), in which water-soluble molecules, hormones, peptides, and ions circulate.
In effect, our skin becomes less thin and less elastic, and with a weaker support structure, it tends to sag, dry, and wrinkle, and even compromise cellular metabolism and mutation. Furthermore, with insufficient water intake, the link in our collagen network can collapse upon itself in a dehydrated environment.1
Why Does our Skin Need Collagen Mask?
Collagen masks offer a trusted and convenient solution to protect the breakdown and boost the production of collagen in our skin. They are an essential part of everyone’s skin care routine, especially for those who have reached the age of 25 when collagen starts to diminish at an average rate of 1.5% , a diminution rate fast enough to let our skin manifest the dreaded premature signs of aging, like fine lines, wrinkles, and thinning, and to bring the level of our collagen from our youth down by 33% by the time we reach the age of 40.2
Collagen masks remarkably help to maintain the skin’s youthfulness and retard skin aging. They can visibly revive and maintain the skin’s firmness and smooth texture, moisturize and rehydrate dry skin the natural way, reduce the size of pores, fines lines, and wrinkles, and most importantly, help to keep your skin cells in proper functioning.
