Facial Tips
Healthy skin starts from a daily facial skincare routine because it is intended to remove makeup, sweat, dirt, and oil that can clog the skin’s pores, protect the skin, and aid in the renewal of the skin cells.
Morning Skincare Facial Tips
Morning skincare should consist of gentle cleansing and protecting the skin from the sun's UV rays and the harsh effects of makeup, pollution, dirt, and oils.
Wash your face with lukewarm water and Facial Cleanser or Face Soap ideal for your skin type. Blot your skin with towel and never rub it to dry.
Use a facial mask and eye mask to nourish, protect, and enhance your skin's complexion. Facial mask that offers sun protection (look for ingredients, like Aloe Vera) is ideal for a morning skincare to enhance your skin’s protection from the sun's UV rays.
Tone the skin with a Face Toner in order to remove residue from the facial cleanser or face soap that have been left behind, restore the pH level of the skin, refine and tighten pores, reduce the appearance of fine lines, and slough off dead skin cells.
Moisturize the skin to keep it supple, smooth, and firm. Take note that dry skin will need more Facial Moisturizer than sensitive and oily skin.
Apply sunscreen cream or lotion to strengthen your skin's protection from the sun's UV rays.
If you choose to wear BB Cream or makeup, apply a primer, like Missha BB Boomer, to put a protective base for your skin from makeup.
Evening Skincare Facial Tips
The goal of evening skincare should be to free the skin from impurities that come in contact with the skin during the day, nourish the skin to promote skin cell healing and renewal that happen best during the nighttime, and therefore treat specific skin problems.
If you have used a BB Cream or makeup during the day, use makeup remover instead of simply washing them off with water and Facial Cleanser or Face Soap. This way, makeup will be efficiently removed which can clog the skin’s pores, cause breakouts and blackheads, and prevent the skin cells from shedding off.

Exfoliate the skin with Facial Exfoliator or Facial Scrub that is ideal for your skin type.
Use a facial mask and eye mask that will best answer your skin's needs and relieve your skin from stress, like Peel-off Mask or Purifying Mask to remove deep-seated dirt and control sebum production of oily skin; Hydrating Mask or Collagen Mask to treat dry skin; Firming Mask to nourish the skin and revive its elasticity; and Whitening Masks to remove blemishes or whiten your complexion.
Use a Facial Moisturizer to treat dry skin and enhance the skin's moisture-retention ability, or your Anti-Aging Cream, and other skincare product that will suit your skin's specific needs.
At-Home Facial Tips:
While facials at a salon or spa are a lovely treat because it offers more benefits, like relaxation for the mind and body, and knowing that your skin is handled by a beautician who knows the field of skincare very well, you can be assured that your skin is sure to get the pampering and treatment that it needs, most often a hectic schedule can prevent you from regularly going to a facial spa or salon, not to mention that they can also be costly. So the next best choice is an at-home facial.
To start, find a cozy spot in your place where you will be uninterrupted for about 30 minutes, and ensure that your hands and nails are clean to avoid bacteria and viruses from contaminating your skin.
Cleansing:
The goal here is to cleanse the face, a relaxing massage to calm your senses and enhance blood flow to your skin, and prepare your skin for pampering. Wash your face with warm water in order.
Use a makeup remover to eliminate BB Cream or makeup before. Wash your face with lukewarm water to open up the skin's pores and therefore allow your skin care products to penetrate better onto your skin Facial Cleanser or Face Soap
If you're using a facial cleanser, squeeze a dime-size of it onto your palm and dot the different areas of your face with it. Massage your face with the Facial Cleanser or Face Soap gently in a circular motion for about a minute in order to let the product penetrate onto your skin, making sure that it covers your cheeks, nose, forehead, chin, and neck. Use your fingers to gently massage and cleanse the face, especially under the eye area. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
Exfoliating:
Cleansing is nothing more but washing the face and clearing it from surface oils and dirt. Exfoliating frees your skin from dead skin cells, which makes skin look dull and cause buildups, and deep-seated dirt, which cleansers cannot remove.
Massage the Facial Scrub or Facial Exfoliator gently on your skin in a circular motion, concentrating on areas that are prone to whiteheads and blackheads, like the nose, and then rinse with lukewarm water.
Steaming:
Steaming opens up the pores to let the remaining impurities escape from the skin and prepare the skin for facial mask.
You can use either a facial steamer, or a bowl filled with steaming water. The water shouldn’t be too hot to burn your skin, or that will make you breath uncomfortably. Hold your face one foot away from the bowl, and steam for 5 to 15 minutes. Rinse your face with lukewarm water and pat with a towel to dry.
Masking:
Facial Mask makes every facial unique because they address your skin's specific needs. Therefore, choose the one that will fit your skincare goal:
Peel-off Facial Masks or Purifying Masks to remove blackheads, deep-seated dirt, and control sebum production of oily skin.
Hydrating Mask or Collagen Mask to treat dry skin
Firming Mask to nourish the skin and revive its elasticity
Whitening Masks to remove blemishes, like sun spots, melanoma or whiten your complexion.
Put the Sheet Mask sheet over the face, or spread the Gel Mask, Cream Mask, or Peel-off Mask over the face and neck. Leave them for about 15 to 30 minutes, or as directed, and then rinse with lukewarm water.
Facial Peel Treatment:
A series of facial peels help to improve mild to moderately severe cases of acne, diminish acne scars, remove warts by sloughing off layers of dead skin cells, reduce the appearance of wrinkles, and improve the skin's complexion. Read on Facial Peel Treatment to know more about this topic.
In conclusion, follow a regular skincare routine and use the right skincare products.
